"Laughing Hands"
Bernadette Lea began walking the path of healing between 1985 and 1990. Her formal training started at the Baltimore School of Massage where she ultimately became an instructor from 1995 to 2000. Her studies have taken her through multiple levels of CranioSacral therapy, Zero Balancing, and a Reiki Mastership to name a few.
Having been a practitioner of yoga for 17 years and a vocalist for over 30 years, she has come to understand the value of conscious breathing in the healing process and every aspect of our lives as we move through our daily activities. Proper breathing is like an internal massage relieving stress, calming the mind, slowing the heart rate, and releasing toxins from the body. These and more are also some of the valuable benefits that bodywork provides.
Bernadette is a proponent of positive thinking and sees the possibilities as limitless in our abilities to transform our lives through movement, stretching, breathing, positive thought, regular bodywork, and cultivating happiness and laughter as good medicine. Her name “Laughing Hands” was born out of this positive outlook in healing. She custom tailors each individual treatment session bringing to the table her gifts and talents of creativity, all of her educational training, applied skills and years of experience . . . a real balance of Spirit, Mind and Body.
